ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION IN BHMS COURSE
The eligibility for admission inBachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S.) Course shall be, namely:-

• (a) The candidate shall have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any recognised Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and have obtained minimum of fifty percent. Marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in case of student belonging to general category and forty percent. marks in case of student belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes:
  Provided that in respect of person with disability specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the qualifying marks in the examinations shall be forty-five percent. in case of General category and forty percent. in case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes.


• (b) Biology/Biotechnology studied as Additional Subject at 10+2 level also shall not be considered for such admission:


• (c) Candidate passed 10+2 from Open School or as Private candidate shall not be eligible to appear for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test.


• (d) No candidate shall be considered for admission in Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S.) Course unless the candidate attains the age of seventeen years on or before the 31st day of December of the year of admission in the first year of the Course;


• (e) No candidate obtaining less than marks at 50th percentile in the National Eligibility-cum- Entrance Test for undergraduate course conducted for the said academic year shall be considered for such admission:
  
  Provided that the candidate belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes obtain marks not less than 40th percentile and the candidate belonging to person with the disability as specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016) obtains the marks not less than 45th percentile in case of General category and not less than 40th percentile in case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes shall be considered for admission.

Provided further that the Commission may, in consultation with the Central Government lower the marks required for admission to undergraduate course for candidate belonging to respective category and marks so lowered by the Commission shall be applicable for that academic year.

• 100 (One Hundred) reservation of seats as applicable and provided under the regulation.

The Application for the admission must be made in prescribed form to be obtained from the College Office. Only that application will be entertained which are complete in all respect. Incomplete applicable will not be considered.

Application should accompany with the attested Photocopy copies of the following testimonials in three copies each.

• 1. Selection letter
• 2. HSC (XII) Standard or equivalent marks sheets.
• 3. Transfer certificate
• 4. Migration Certificate
• 5. Nationality Certificate
• 6. SSC Certificate
• 7. Date of Birth proof certificate
• 8. Physical fitness certificate
• 9. Caste certificate (for SC/ST OBC students)
• 10. Character Certificate from previous school.
• 11. Migration certificate from Students coming from other university.
• 12. Five copies of recent passport size photograph

• 1. All communications regarding the college, hostel Hospital should be addressed to the principal.
• 2. Every student is expected to conduct himself properly in the College, Hospital & Hostel.
• 3. Strict disciplinary action will be taken to any student found guilty of misconduct, violation of the rules and practice, in the college, Hostel & Hospital. Also it may lead to expulsion from the college.
• 4. Student found guilty of carelessness leading to breakage or loss of any college, Hostel & Hospital property, book, costly apparatus etc. shall make good the loss at once may in addition to fine.
• 5. Students are allowed to work in the laboratory in the presence of the professors only.
• 6. The provisions of the prospectus cannot be regarded as an irrevocable contract between the college and the students. The college reserves the right to change any provision or requirements and frame new rules at any time within the students, time of education including Text books fees curriculum and rules and regulation in general or those pertaining to the College & Hostel.
• 7. Students are not allowed to enter the office and disturb the staff on duty.
• 8. Every student must carry his/her identity card along with passport size photo.
• 9. Every student must take delivery of his Identity card from the College and carry with him so : that the same may be produced on demand.
• 10. The College, Hostel and Hospital compound will not be the venue of any meeting or gathering of the students out the consent of the Principal.
• 11. Students should be punctual in their attendance at lectures practical and clinical classes. They must ensure sufficient attendance. 75% attendance in theoretical/clinical hospital duty is the minimum requisite qualification to sit for the examination.
• 12. Students will be allowed to meet the principal or his representative only at a scheduled and appointed time.
• 13. Clinical duty is essential for students.
• 14. Tuition fees should be paid in full at the time of admission to the course. No students shall be given mark sheets or certificates unless all his/her dues for College & Hostel are paid.
• 15. Guardians of the students are personally liable for all the dues etc. for the college & Hostel Moreover all students are to produce their guardians, declarations as their financial guarantor for College and Hostel dues.

• The students have to pay the admission fee, registration charges, Tuition fees, cau􀀠on money and Hostel charges (if eligible) University registration fees and other fees as prescribed by College and University at the time of admission only.

The refund of fees of BHMS student shall be made as per direction of the competent authority of Government of Bihar. Decision of the principal in case of refund of fees shall be final. .

The Scholarship and free ship shall be awarded to the eligible candidates belonging to the category SC/ST/OBC under the government of India Scholarship scheme through social welfare department, Government of Bihar.

The normal college hours unless otherwise notified by the principal extends on week days from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. College will remain closed on Sundays and Holidays as prescribed by State Government/University.

A minimum attendance of 75% in all subjects is essential for being qualifying to appear in the ensuing examination Candidate securing less than 75% attendance shall not be allowed to appear in the Examination.
